EARLY VOTING

New Jersey's early voting program lets you cast your ballot at convenient locations across the county—no lines, no hassle. Vote for Jay Costa early and get back to what matters.

Dates and Hours:

  • Period: Saturday, October 25, 2025, through Sunday, November 2, 2025 (9 full days!).

  • Daily Schedule:

    • Monday–Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

    • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Locations:

Early voting sites are spread out for easy access. Bring ID if requested, and vote just like on Election Day.

MAIL-IN VOTING

Voting by mail is secure, simple, and perfect if you're busy with work, family, or travel. New Jersey makes it easy—no excuse needed!

 

How to Get and Return Your Mail-in Ballot:

  • Apply Now: Request your ballot online at vote.nj.gov or contact the Bergen County Clerk at (201) 336-7000. Applications are available until shortly before Election Day, but apply early to ensure delivery.

  • Receive and Vote: Once your ballot arrives (typically within a few days), read the instructions, mark your choices (including Jay Costa for Commissioner), and seal it in the provided envelope.

  • Return Options (must be by 8:00 p.m. on November 4, 2025):

    • Mail It: Postmark by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day—it must reach the Board of Elections within 6 days after.

    • Secure Drop Box: Drop off at one of Bergen County's designated boxes (locations listed at vote.nj.gov) by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

    • In Person: Deliver to the Bergen County Board of Elections at One Bergen County Plaza, Room 310, Hackensack, NJ 07601, by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

ELECTION DAY

Nothing beats the energy of Election Day. Head to your local polling place, vote Republican, and help flip Bergen County red!

  • Date and Hours: Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • Find Your Polling Place: Enter your address at the NJ Voter Information Portal: voter.svrs.nj.gov/polling-place-search. Or call the Bergen County Board of Elections at (201) 336-6600.

  • What to Bring: A government-issued photo ID if it's your first time voting in that precinct (otherwise, not required). Provisional ballots are available if needed.

  • Process: Check in, vote on the machine (practice videos at bergencountyclerk.gov), and verify your choices.

Polls are in schools, community centers, and firehouses across all 70 municipalities—your district's spot is just minutes away. Weather or not, your vote for Jay Costa counts!
